LinguaServe, the teaching organisation run by Maurice and Ann Claypole, now use Second Life as an extension of their existing language school. It serves as an additional resource. Their main Second Life location includes a copy of their real life building, complete with roof garden, lecture theatre and meeting room. In the virtual world they are not limited to what can be done in the classroom, but instead, they use the whole of the metaverse as a field for learning, teaching and experimentation.
