Getting the most out your Interactive Whiteboard: approaches and pedagogies

This training day run by English UK comprises three parts.

Part one provides a review of the various approaches to using IWBs, and includes an introduction to peripherals such as Learner Voting devices and slates.

Part two presents a range of practical teaching activities, many of them selected from the recent resource book ‘400 Ideas for using Interactive Whiteboards’ in the Macmillan Books for Teachers series. These ideas include grammar teaching, vocabulary, language skills, phonology, games and learner training.

Part three is a hands-on workshop, where participants can share ideas and best practice.
