A slightly belated note to say thank you to eveyone who attended my session at the Prospero House in London last Saturday. The most exciting thing to hear how so many teachers now have access to and integrate a range of technologies into their classroom teaching. Compared to a few years ago, the use of computers and associated technologies in language teaching is now becoming increasingly “normalised”. This was noticable in way that dicussions of technology have started to move away from questions of cost and training and now focus much more on issues such as the appropriate application of that technology; the software available; and how its use meets the needs of learners.
As Pete would observe: I probably need to get out more.
My handout for the presentation is available to download.
